cleverly.interventions.RiskRatioTilt#

class cleverly.interventions.RiskRatioTilt(delta: float, name: str = '')[source]#

The risk-ratio incremental intervention of lmtp::ipsi, a randomized policy.

For delta < 1 each treated unit keeps its treatment with probability delta and is otherwise untreated, so \(P(A^d = 1 \mid h) = \delta\, g(1 \mid h)\). For delta > 1 each untreated unit stays untreated with probability 1 / delta and is otherwise treated, so \(P(A^d = 0 \mid h) = g(0 \mid h) / \delta\). delta = 1 is the natural course. The policy draws a two-point randomizer of known law, as lmtp’s ipsi_down and ipsi_up do with runif(n) < delta, so it is a randomized modified treatment policy whose law does not depend on the data (Hoffman et al. 2024, Example 8), and its estimator is doubly robust. It is not the odds-ratio tilt Incremental (Kennedy 2019), which defines its intervention through the fitted mechanism. The treatment is binary, coded 0 and 1.

Parameters:
deltafloat

The risk ratio, positive.

namestr

The report label. Defaults to "rr 0.5" style, with "natural course" for delta=1.
