class cleverly.IdentificationProvider(*args, **kwargs)[source]#

Convert a causal estimand into an observed-data functional.

Implement this protocol to add an identification strategy. The provider must return an IdentifiedEffect with explicit assumptions and nuisance requirements.

Parameters:
*args, **kwargs

Present because typing.runtime_checkable() gives a protocol a synthetic constructor. A protocol is implemented, not instantiated.
